A God who never despises small beginnings
It was a not co-incidence that I came to yelahanka. In fact, I believe it was a God’s plan that was accomplished through me.
I was pasturing in a local church in Peenya, another area of Bangalore, which is 10km away from Yelahanka. Later in the year of 2009, I just came to yelahaka with a plan of planting a church. Since I didn’t know anybody, I just started prayer walk. A few days later, I met a bachelor, who was already a believer, and he was doing some business. I began visiting his house often, and after couple of days, we just came to a point that we need to start a small beginning.
In the year of 2009 August, we decided to begin Sunday service at the residence of a Christian family, and we were a total of 7 members, including the members of that family. From there, God never allowed us to look back. Last year, we hired a hall in the town near MS Palaya Junction to conduct the worship service. Now around 25 to 30 members are attending the Sunday service every week. Recently we shifted to a newly rented premises at King’s Farm compound, and we worship the Lord with great gladness.
Even though our church is a young and small church, yet by the grace of God, it is a growing and active church.
